Director’s Statement

“FAME explores the insane path of someone trying to find their way in the creative field. But also asks the question of purpose for creation. What do you, the creator want to gain from it?

We wanted to push ourselves with a highly experimental style to focus on a highly expressive, visual form to really show the mind and soul of our character.

The visuals and sound of the film was carefully planned to convey different part of ones journey to creation and all the stinging feelings of change, anger and uncertainty.

Being part of an industry that is constantly changing, highly competitive and so often out of your own control, is nerv-wrecking.
Creating art is a personal process that exposes you as an individual, is it worth it?”
